Hi, I'm Terrie D,

I have always loved creating art, and for many years I shared my drawings only with close family and friends. Working with colored  pencils and pan pastels has long been my peaceful retreat from raising a family and my busy career as a Paralegal.

God has blessed me with a full and beautiful life.  Now that I'm retired, with grown children and grandchildren of my own, I feel called to nurture my creativity in new and meaningful ways.  With my husband's encouragement, I first stepped into the public art world through the creation of coloring books.

My first coloring book, "Wild Things of the World", was self-published in June 2021. I followed it with "Wild Things of the Oceans, Lakes and Streams" in June 2022, then "Wild Things for Kids" six months later, and finally "Mild Things of the World" in early 2024. I plan to continue the series with a fifth coloring book with a Christmas collection in 2026'. 

 In recent years, the enthusiastic response to my coloring books has encouraged me to take a new and exciting step: offering my fine art for sale. Under my brand Fine Art by Terrie D, I am focusing more intentionally on individual drawings and original works. This shift has been energizing, challenging, and surprisingly relaxing. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art more widely and to continue growing creatively in this new chapter of my life.
