"The Historic Balch Hotel in Dufur, Oregon" is an original colored pencil drawing. The hotel was built in 1907 and registered in the Oregon State Register for Historic Buildings. The town of Dufur, Oregon is also an historic town and also registered. The Balch Hotel is very victorian inside and out. Each room is decorated individually. There are two stories of bedrooms and baths. The owners host weddings and other special events on their beautifully landscaped yard with manicured lawns, huge trees, and water fountain. It is a delight to visit. We stayed in this hotel several times and know the owners. They have graciously offered to display my original matted and framed drawing in their hotel. The original drawing is for sale.
